April 9, 2024 – BANGOR SAVINGS BANK FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES SACO MEALS AS RECIPIENT OF THE $5,000 COMMUNITY MATTERS MORE GRANT FOR YORK COUNTY!!
Community Organizations Sign-On as 2024 Monthly Sponsors with $2,400 grants
-Saco Valley Credit Union, Maine Community Bank, Saco Biddeford Savings Institute, Northeast Credit Union, Atlantic Federal Credit Unit, WEX, Sprit Aerosystems, and Clean-O-Rama. Union Church of Biddeford Pool also sponsored 8 meals with a $1,600 grant.
Saco Meals Awarded 2023 Grants!!
Maine Community Foundation announced that Saco Meals Program was awarded a 2023 grant to help the program continuing rebuilding after being closed from Covid pandemic. Our program is working on increasing community awareness, improving social media presence, and refreshing needed infrastructure. We are so thankful for this grant to help us meet the food insecurity and socialization needs of our community!
Good Shepherd Food Bank announced that Saco Meals Program was awarded a 2023 grant to help with capacity building and providing funds for new cold storage units including a new refrigerator and new freezer for the Saco hall.
