Annual Holiday Pork Pie Sale
Our annual Pork Pie sale is scheduled for Friday, November 22nd 1pm-5pm and Saturday, November 23rd at noon until all pies are sold. The 9″ pork pies will be sold for $20. We are offering pre-sale/pre-pay as well as walk-in purchases. To pre-order, send email to sacomeals@sacomeals.org. We are expecting to make over 200 pies again this year!
Maine Council on Aging partners with Hannaford for CHEF program and awards the Saco Meals Program a $7,500 grant to upgrade commercial kitchen dishwasher.
Saco Bay Rotary Club provides $375 grant to outfit kitchen with commercial safety mats.
Community Organizations Sign-On as 2024 Monthly Sponsors with $2,400 grants
Saco Valley Credit Union, Maine Community Bank, Saco Biddeford Savings Institute, Northeast Credit Union, Atlantic Federal Credit Unit, WEX, and Sprit/FMI. Union Church of Biddeford Pool also sponsored 8 meals with a $1,600 grant and SAPPI North America sponsored 6 meals with a $1,200 grant.
