Maine Council on Aging partners with Hannaford for CHEF program and awards the Saco Meals Program a $7,500 grant to upgrade commercial kitchen dishwasher.
Hannaford-Saco selected the Saco Meals Program for its Fighting Hunger Reusable Bag Campaign in December 2024. $1 from each bag sold was donated totalling a donation of $392.
Saco Bay Rotary Club provides $375 grant to outfit kitchen with commercial safety mats.
Community Organizations Sign-On as 2025 Monthly Sponsors
Saco Valley Credit Union, Maine Community Bank, Saco Biddeford Savings Institute, Atlantic Federal Credit Unit, Lighthouse Federal Credit Union, Union Church of Biddeford Pool, and ReadySeafood have all signed on for 2025. WEX and SAPPI North America are also sponsoring monthly meals from their 2024 grants.
