May 16th – Chloe Gendron of St. James School wins 1st Place in the 29th Annual Biddeford-Saco Rotary Essay Contest – “What the Word Family Means to Me” and names Saco Meals Program as her non-profit of choice to receive a matching donation. Congrats Chloe!
May 8th – People’s Choice presents a donation check to Saco Meals Program and 18 other organizations in their support of Ending Hunger in Maine. A total of more than $36,000 was raised and donated by the People’s Choice Credit Union community! Thank you for the support!
Community Organizations Sign-On as 2024 Monthly Sponsors with $2,400 grants
Saco Valley Credit Union, Maine Community Bank, Saco Biddeford Savings Institute, Northeast Credit Union, Atlantic Federal Credit Unit, WEX, Sprit/FMI, and Clean-O-Rama. Union Church of Biddeford Pool also sponsored 8 meals with a $1,600 grant.
